A Bookworms Palace

Is there anything better than a building filled with books? I think not.

Lately Cam and I have fallen in love with visiting the library. We are even lucky enough that we have two that are equidistant from our house – and sometimes even visit them both in one night.

I love everything about the library - the quiet reverence, endless stories of love or suspense, vast amounts of information, free movies, judging books by their cover and stumbling upon a great read, leaving with a stack of carefully picked items just waiting to be read/watched.

There is something indescribable about reading a book – the way it can capture your imagination and guide you through a story while you create images and characters and voices in your head. I love the escape it provides as you venture into the world of such people as Mr. Darcy, Sir Percy Blakeney (aka The Scarlet Pimpernel), Jane Eyre, Anne Shirley, and other fabulous people we can only wish existed in real life.

"There is such seduction in a library of good books that I cannot resist the temptation to luxuriate in reading." – John Quincy Adams

(as you might have guessed the "graphic novels" aka comic books are Cam's favorite from the library. I love that he has found something to read while I read - that boy loves his superhero's)

Have you been to the used book store on main street in Bountiful? It's a good one and they have some of the coolest books, posters and vintage items there.

I'm in love with reading too. Have you read "These is my Words" yet? It's my most recent fave. Love ya!

And I love the library. Such a great place.

Nice use of "equidistant".
