Food:
- I not only tried one new recipe this week, but about 7 of them. Our menu was filled with tortellini carbonara, stuffed bell peppers with asiago asparagus, turkey kabobs (which a delish marinade) and garlic broccoli, spinach artichoke pizza (complete with feta, chicken and bacon), and peanut sesame noodles with chicken.
- Created a meal plan, shopped for the ingredients, and stuck with it. It's kind of nice to have what you need on hand.
- Counted my calories every day and done pretty good...
- Joined the "Biggest Loser" and "Mile Challenge" at work
- Worked out 5 times
- Accomplished my mile goal for the week
- As mentioned, counted my calories every day
- Blogging more - I know I can still do better, but I'm trying (this is #4 for the year)
- More involved with the ward - today was my first day teaching in Primary. I teach the 4 year olds and unfortunately it didn't go to well today... good thing I have a year to improve. I also attended our Primary Activity yesterday and met more people in our ward than I have in the last 6 months.
- Visit grandparents - we dined with Cam's grandparents yesterday (who we have talked about visiting since getting married). It was nice to get to know them better and hear all about their lives.
I think 2011 is going to be a good year.

Whoa Jill! Impressive! I wish I could say the same for my first week of 2011. Ugh. But you inspire me to be better. If you ever need to "test out" some of your new recipes, I'm your girl!
Nice work, Jill! You have a lot to be proud of! Yea for progress!
Way to be Jill! Oh and in reference to the primary kids... that is the same age we have and a reverence chart will work wonders. Have each kid color a chart and a little marker and you move them along it throughout class as they raise their hands, are reverent, bring scriptures, etc. You can also move them back if they aren't reverent. Offer a prize if they make it to the end of the chart, candy bar, ctr ring. I'm telling you, it's magic. I've done it for like 3 years now and it never fails.
Very impressive. I think I want/need some of those recipes. Any that are worth passing along? Some of them sounded vegetarian? No?
Nice work on sticking to your goals! Isn't there something really empowering about being able to accomplish goals? GOOD FOR YOU!!!
