And So it Begins...

We started our trip off yesterday after work and headed to St. George. We met up with Brooke and the real fun began. I got to see Mom and Dad's house for the first time since they bought it and that was so fun! Being the early birds that we are, we were up and on our way by 7:00 AM. Seeing our need to document everything, this is us in our car...

We got to LA and were trying to find Santee Alley, Mom has just about the stupidest navigation system and we spent more time trying to figure it out than actually getting it to work...
We made it to Downtown LA to find the cream of the crop goods. Santee Alley is one of my favorite shopping stops, knock-offs and cheap stuff, got to love it!

One of the best things of street fairs, markets, or shops is the food stands. We found these bacon wrapped hot dogs that were covered in onions, peppers, salsa, and hot sauce. They were so good, but very spicy...

After several hours hoity-toity shopping, we decided to head toward our hotel and grab something to eat on the way. We were driving around and we stumbled upon Norms. It was straight-up 1950's diner, not the re-created type mind you, but the original carpet, tile, cups, and probably help. It was so fun and full of funny moments...

We got back to our hotel and relaxed with a little run to the hot tub. Isn't vacation the best? I can't think of a better way to spend my time!
