This post is better late, then never right?
My birthday last Saturday was one for the ages. I was woken up by Cam with an early morning present. I walked out of my room to see - not only had my house been decorated by my wonderfully loving sister Brooke (it was so cute) - but this: I've wanted a beach cruiser for a while and he couldn't have picked a better one. It is perfect and oh so cute. Now I just need to ride it around with a sundress and I will feel like I belong at the beach.
Before we had to be to the temple at 8:30, we stopped and got breakfast. I was a bit (ok more than a bit) nervous and didn't have much of an appetite, but we stopped and got bagels. I loved sharing that early morning time with Cam.
We met my mom at the temple and started the process, it was wonderful and new all at the same time. Most of my family came and part of Cam's. It was SO neat to get to share it with them all. I felt so blessed that they were all there for me.
After the temple, we headed to Trent and Amy's for a post-temple, birthday bash. I loved having everyone there (including Brooke and Ashlee who stayed home and watched the kids - I have such amazing friends in those two). The food was delicious, the company divine, and the day perfect.
I finished out the day with a much needed nap (it was a bit of a draining morning) and a low key night with Cam - complete with last minute change in dinner plans and ending up at my favorite Training Table.
I honestly could not have asked for a better birthday. By past year's standards, it was much less of a celebration, but I felt it was appropriate that way this year. It was such a special day and one I will remember forever.
I'm still adjusting to life with the G's, I fear I may never be able to wear jeans again, but overall I feel blessed and grateful for the Gospel in my life and the blessings it provides.

Okay, I'm hoping whoever put that first comment there was joking because I was thinking the exact opposite! Seriously - you are looking so good! (How long is your hair now?!)
I love that you got a beach cruiser for your birthday. I'm so jealous! I wish I could've been in town to enjoy the day with you, but I'm glad it was such a good day. And your engagement pictures?! Gorgeous. I love the purple flats too.
Love you!
Loved celebrating you birthday with you. And the Temple was an awesome part of it. And you do get used to G's and levis...
What a fun day! So glad it was a good one!
Oh I am so jealous of that bike!! It is so cute! I'm glad you had a great birthday. Don't worry you'll get used to the G's soon enough :)
p.s. you seriously look beautiful!
WOW! I hope the jerk who posted the first comment wasn't being serious! I think Jill looks great! As for the individual who posted the first comment obivously lacks tact, and is a big fat jerk! My wish for you is severe obesity! JERK!
Jill,
You look hot! I am so excited for you and Cameron, and I was sad to miss the temple trip. Maisy, the little brat, cried all morning.
Isn't it flattering that:
A. some boy is heartbroken over you, is stalking you, and says stupid things to make himself feel better, or
B. some girl is desperately jealous of your perfect life!
On June 4 we will party like it is 1999!
