The Proposal: Take Two

Knowing that my ring has been in the works for nearly 4 weeks has had me pretty antsy. I have been dreaming about how the sparkly thing would look on my finger and was sick of showing off my impostor. I knew the estimated timeline, but Cam and I decided that it would be a surprise when I would get it.

I had my suspicions of when he would get it but it was confirmed when I walked in my house Tuesday night to find this:

A maze of string through my house, with appropriately placed notes of memories in different places, accompanied with insights of Cam's thoughts about those memories (the first time he saw me, the first time he experienced "Competitive Jill," reliving our first kiss, etc). The walk down memory lane from Cam's perspective was one of the best parts.

I must say the very best part was getting to the end. It was like following a treasure map and getting to the end with the treasure. My treasure was Fiance with The Ring. He even got down on one knee and asked me to marry him again (in case you were wondering... I said yes!).

I'm basically in love with it. It turned out way better than I had anticipated and having it on my finger is dreamy. Love!
