It happened. I, Jill Jensen, am officially engaged to Cameron Clark.
This all went down Friday morning at about 5:30 AM. I was awoken with a kiss and opened my eyes to see Cameron at my bed side. I asked if he wanted to cuddle and he said "I first want to ask you something." He proceeded to get down on one knee, tell me how much he loves me and wants to spend the rest of his life with me and asked "So, Jill Jensen, Will you marry me?" I of course had to say "YES!"Being that it was still 5:40 in the morning, and we were wide awake, we decided to head to Denny's for a celebratory breakfast. Our waitress was the first person to know of our recent engagement, classy huh?
We spent the rest of the morning (until reality hit and we had to go to work) basking in the excitement of our new relationship status: engaged!!!
The whole moment and morning was perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better way for it to happen then in the quiet morning hours in an intimate setting (I'm not one for show).
The big day is June 4th and we couldn't be happier!

Hey Jill, you might not remember me, but I have been reading your blog off and on for a while, you were my visiting teacher for a while a couple years ago in North Salt Lake. And I just thought you were the cutest girl! (I found your blog from my friend Brook Thompson's blog) Anyway, Congratulations!! I am SO excited for you! You look so happy! haha, and please don't think I'm a stalker!!
Congrats Jill (and Cameron) I'm look forward to meeting him...someday. Maybe we'll be in UT in June...who knows. Either way good luck with the planning and everything else that goes with getting ready, so fun!
