Winter Wonderland

What a day?!? Waking up to a beautiful winter wonderland outside my window was divine, the Christmas spirit is now in full swing.

I felt this way until about 1 minute after leaving my house this morning. I could not believe the delays in getting to work. What normally take 5 minutes to get to the freeway, took an astounding 20 minutes. Once on the freeway, it was the same story. An hour later I finally arrived at work and I was so grateful to be there.

My winter driving got off to a great start on Saturday when I spun out on the freeway. It was one of the scariest experiences ever. This alone made my commute so much worse. I am pretty sure it was all in my head, but it felt at every turn or lane change that my wheels were slipping and I was just moments away from it happening again. I was basically a nut case on the road today.

It is only the first few days of winter and I am already sick of winter driving. It has to make me wonder: Why do I live in Utah?

Scary! It took me an hour to get into work too, not counting the time it took to brush off all the snow on my car... Such a hassle. I just hope the roads aren't too icey in the morning! Be safe!

Ugh. Loved having the snow, hated having to drive in it. It was one of those days when you just want to stay inside, drink hot chocolate and lounge in jammies. Too bad none of that happened.

However, it was fun to see you today!

I, for one, didn't have to go anywhere, so I actually enjoyed the snow. So pretty!

Sorry about your spinning out experience though. That had to have been freaking scary!

Glad your 'nut case' didn't end up in an accident!!! So glad you're ok even though you were an hour late to work!!!
