I'm Dreaming...

One of my favorite traditions at Christmas time, is our "White Christmas" night. This is something that has been going on for 13 years we figured. I had to wait until I "graduated" to a certain maturity level to finally be able to go, but have loved it ever since.

The tradition has consisted of my Aunt and Uncle, Bill and Ann, and the girls in my family. We have always done it at Bill and Ann's and this year they allowed me to take over the reigns of hostess and host the party at my house. I was so excited for everyone to come over.

First was dinner, cheese fondue with all the fixings (i.e. bread, pears, apples, broccoli, etc). Which followed with some chit-chat around the table with our traditional dessert, M&M's and this years addition, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
As we watched the show, the girls decided to go "shopping" in my bags. Those of you who know me well, know that I have a bit of a bag fetish. I have a good 20+ bags, so I think these girls had plenty of options.
The real reason of this tradition is to watch the ever classic "White Christmas." This year we started the movie during dinner and just enjoyed it in the background. By the time the last 10 minutes of the movie rolled around by the time we all made it to the couch to watch it.
Overall the night was a huge success. I loved being able to invite my favorite people into my home. My house is my little sanctuary and it made it that much better to have all of these people I love here with me.

I'd never heard of this tradition of yours Jill! How fun to host a party at your place.

So did your family really go shopping for your bags? I can't imagine you parting with some of those!

I think the bag Mike has picked out goes perfectly with his outfit!

Looks like a fun party!
