I feel like I let myself get lost in the small missteps of life, when I should really be focusing on the blessing in my life. So that is exactly what I am going to do today: count my blessings.
My Blessings (in no particular order):
-My fabulously, wonderful sister Brooke. Being able to live with Brooke is so much fun as well as such a blessing. I am so grateful for our friendship.
-My equally wonderful family. I am pretty sure I have on of the most amazing family and best friends. They are always there when I need them (including an extremely busy brother coming over to be my handy man) and available to get together just to enjoy each others company. I love them all!
- My job. I am so grateful to have a job during this scary time economical time, not only do I have a job, but I have a job that I really like and get to work with some great people.
- My house. I could list numerous blessings that even got me to the point of being able to buy my own place, but having it is such a blessing. I just love having my own little corner of the world. I am truly blessed.
- My education. Being graduated for a year now, I have come to really appreciate my college education. I'm not working in my field of study, but it is such a blessing to have been able to accomplish such a task. Going to school teaches you so much more than just what is taught in the classroom, and I am grateful for all the experiences, knowledge, and life lessons that college provided.
-The Gospel. Growing up with the Gospel, I tend to take it for granted. I often don't take the time to realize the amazing gift it is. From the powerful gift of the Atonement to the simple guidance of every day actions. I'm grateful to have the The Truth.
- Awareness. I know that I have a loving Heavenly Father who is very aware of me. From my deep down pain to my greatest joys, he is aware of me and blesses me in vastly different ways. He shows his love and awareness to me in the smallest details of my life, I just need to learn to recognize them more.
- My health. I have never really had much trials by way of health which is such a blessing. I think this can be my biggest stumbling block, I tend to focus on my bodies imperfections as opposed to just being grateful for a healthy body.
- Technology. I am a bit of a tech-geek, but aside from my fascination with the techy-gadgets, life really is so amazing with the technology we have. I'll count along with this: the Internet, blogs (who doesn't love getting to know people, keeping up on loved one's, and sharing with all? I love them.), cell phones, and television.
- Life and Freedom. I have the blessing and luxury of so many freedom's due to our wonderful country. Everyday I am able to make my own choices and live my life the way I want. I love that.
- Financial Stability. I have been fortunate enough to have had many life lessons that have taught me to work hard (thanks Dad) which have translated to working hard for the things I want now. I have put myself through school, paid off my car, and been in a position to buy my house. Working is never fun, but the benefits are more than worth it.
- Entertainment. It may be a waste of time, but I love all forms of entertainment from music to TV to movies to plays to books (especially books), I enjoy them all. It's nice to embrace the escape and diversion from life and help you see different worlds, ways of life, and everything else.
- My Friends. I have never been one to have a ton of friends, but the one's I do are golden! I have been so blessed to have some of the greatest of friends all throughout my life, and they just keep getting better. They really are one of my greatest blessings and have gotten me through the hardest of times and been there to celebrate the best of times.
I could go on I am sure, but I am grateful for the chance to see for myself, just how blessed I am.
On this Thanksgiving, I want to thank each of you, all those who read this and even those that don't. I have amazing people around me that bless and enrich my life every day. So thank you for the blessings you each provide me.
Happy Thanksgiving.

We are all blessed--glad you recognize yours!!!
Yes, we are all so blessed, aren't we. Loved your "gratitude" list. You're right, we need to remember all this stuff year-round.
Can't wait to come over and see your house which you're so grateful for.
