Several weeks ago I was walking around Ross and found this little gem on clearance.
Gem you ask? Yes, a gem. If you can just look past the ugly gold color and nasty texture, there is quite a bit of potential.
I headed to my local DIY girl, Jamie. You know who she is, the girl that transforms her rooms over night, has style like you wouldn't believe, and an eye for home decor. She was nice enough to help me out and even had all the stuff to re-vamp my mirror. What better way to create the perfect mirror than with a fresh coat of crisp white paint?
The finished product was better than I could even imagine!
I hung it over my white-themed bed and it just seemed to complete the room. I have fallen in love with it.
I don't know what it is, but doing a project yourself just makes it that much cuter. It's so fun to see something transition from ugly to glam. Luckily I'm related to the Master DIY-er.
