Friday night is always the best part of the week. The work week is over, the weekend is all ahead, and it's usually a night filled with fun. This Friday night was no exception. I had a work BBQ and my friends were nice enough to tag along for a night filled with strangers. There was even a near fatal accident, when the kids thought it would be fun to through croquet balls off of the tramp. We watched in slow motion as one came flying over head and hit Stacie right in the shin. We burst out laughing as Stacie collapsed in pain. We aren't very nice friends, I guess. Luckily she survived and escaped with only a bruise.
Ashlee and Shannon even decided to dress in coordinating outfits, cute don't you think?
After our evening at the BBQ, we decided to head back to Bountiful. Ice cream was on the mind, so we made a trip to my favorite place: Yogurt Stop (so good). It was a beautiful summer night so we took advantage and ate out on the grass. We felt so old school enjoying ice cream on a summer night sitting on main street.
Of course given such a picture perfect moment, a photo shoot ensued. I love capturing life's events.
I am so lucky to have such great friends! There is never a dull moment with these girls around.

I love your scarf. And I LOVED seeing you today at the pool. It was so fun to sit around and just chat. We need to schedule time like that once a week.
I just have to say for the record that I did NOT laugh when Stacie got hit with the ball! My reaction was more of running frantically to get all the kids to stop! We're lucky we got out alive! Thanks for letting us come to the party Jill. The night was full of much-needed laughs. I love those nights.
p.s. I miss your family. Do they hate me for being such a loser lately? Tell them hi for me!
I LOVE yogurt stop. I need to go. Maybe on our girls night we can do that.
