Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year! I have never been one to like to celebrate New Year's Eve, I am just as content sitting at home hanging out then going out and doing something. But I feel I got the best of both worlds this year.

Steve and I started out the night at Brad and Heidi's. We had some amazing food (my favorite type of snacking foods and such) and some major Wii. I think I could play Dodgeball on there forever, it is so much fun! Especially once people get into it and the competition gets the best of people.

After that we headed out to the Watkins, Steve's second family some would say.

We played some games, ate some food, and decided to reign in the new year 12 year old style. We all got pots and pans and were ready to go run outside at the stroke of Midnight.

Kara and I were well prepared...
We watched the ball drop and then ran outside to let everyone know of the new year. Trevor put a spin on things with his guitar and harmonica instead of pots and pans... What is New Year's without a New Year's Kiss?
Kara and Trevor are my new favorite people that Steve and I hang out with. Trevor is Steve's really good friend (and Trevor's whole family) and I just love his wife Kara. I think she is probably the nicest person I have ever met.
The night was super fun and best of all I got to spend it all with this cute boy...

I am pretty excited for the new year and can't wait for what lies in store. I am in such a time of change in my life that I feel like anything is possible. I could be one of a million places in my life in a year. It's kind of a scary thought but so exciting at the same time, change is good and I can't wait to take part in new adventures. I hope to take advantage of my flexible situation in life and experience all I can while I am still young and single.

Look out 2009, HERE I COME!!!

Oh whatever, you're not single! You'll be married off and gone by July.

WHAT?! Never one to celebrate this holiday? Maybe you just needed to celebrate it with Neiders around. I hear we're pretty fun.

I loved being together the other night. You looked beautiful and I'm with Amy - your hair is way cute!

Love the scarf, love the boots, love the hair, love it.
