My Day With Steve

Sunday morning Steve and I decided to head to the conference center to see if we could get into the morning session of conference. We braved the rain and after several round about ways to get into the conference center we got in. The Sunday morning session is one of my favorite to go to because you get to hear "Music and the Spoken Word." Steve may or may not have slept through most of conference, but it was good to be there with him.

I forgot my camera in the car, so this is about as much documentation as you get...
We spent the rest of the day making food (grilled cheese, cinnamon rolls and ice cream), playing games (I think I won about 10 out of 12 games of speed), and then decided it was time to get out of the house.

We drove up to the dirt road behind the B in Bountiful and drove up the mountain...

After our drive we found a park that actually had swings! We were pretty ecstatic. We swung, teeter-tottered, monkey bar-ed, and had an impromptu photo shoot. If only we could have caught Steve's impression of Austin Powers conducting the photo shoot...
After the park I got to introduce Steve to the wonder of Magic Shell. Magic Shell on mint chocolate chip is one of my favorite treats ever and Steve had never had Magic Shell before! Luckily he liked it, otherwise I might have to reconsider...

Steve isn't really into the whole blogging world, but he was nice enough to sit here next to me while I wrote this blog. Isn't he great?...

I have to mention that one of my favorite things about conference this morning is when Elder Hales said that one way we can uplift others is by commenting on blogs. How great is that? I think that everyone needs to heed that council and comment more!

I wrote down Elder Hales comment about blogs in my notes and underlined it! Although, I'm pretty sure he meant gospel related comments...

I'm still stalking this blog, and Elder Hales is a family friend, so I guess I'd better write something here. No, seriously, you're still keeping it interesting.

I also totally loved that Elder Hales mentioned blog comments!

And, let's talk about how cute Steve is! Too bad that blogging is so public so I can't ask more questions and say more things! I wish we had a family get-together coming up so I could dish with you about this. Sorry if I'm nosy. Just am.

You're beautiful. I'm so crazy about this hair length on you!

Oh Jill one of the things that I have missed the last few weeks has been reading your blog. You really should stop by and oh my goodness Steve is a looker and you both look so good together. Great Job!

Steve - cute. You? B.E.A.U-tiful! You really look so good all those pics. It was so good - as always - to see you today. It's too long between our get-togethers.

Your blog is so refreshing, I just love it! Sometimes I get sick of the "typical Mormon girl blogs" where everything is like, "look how amazing my life is!" (I admit, my blog might fall into this category. haha...oh well. I don't really have anything else to blog about. boring I know.) Anyway, love the hair, love the posts, and that Steve character is a cutie! Good luck :)
