What to do?

So the amazing opportunity has arose to buy a Range Rover. I know, sounds flamboyant, but my credit union collected one off of a bankruptcy. It is SUCH a good deal and I have always wanted one. The decision has been weighing on me and I just don't know what to do.

What do I do? Follow logic and shy away from the gas-guzzling money-sucker? Or go for my dream of having the car I have always wanted for a price I will never find again?

I would like people's opinion, what would you do? Keep my gas friendly, oh so cute, Mazda3 or buy the amazingly attractive, dream vehicle of a life time?

(Not the actual car, but it looks the exact same, isn't it SOOOO cute?)

I like that car... but way expensive for gas. I can barely afford to drive my little car... you must get paid more than me!

I say bite the bullet and do it! I think it's a screamin deal, and I'm a huge Range Rover fan!

Don't do it babe, NO WAY! Ya it's a cool car but I just can't get over people who are still driving around huge SUV's. I think they're crazy! You would throw so much money down the toilet in gas. Keep your little cute Mazda and count your blessings, you should see what I drive and I'm not kidding! When you get that rich husband of yours he can buy that Range Rover for you but no way, I wouldn't do it.

It is cute...but your Mazda is also super cute. And gas is way too much to get an SUV. I say don't do it!

It would be a fun purchase, but what would you really get out of it? More luxury? Turn a few heads? I certainly do not know your financial situation, but I do know that we are both on the front end of our lives as financially independent adults. With so much still ahead, and so much unknown about what the future holds... it seems like a risky buy.

I was thinking that you should go for the glory, but I am leaning towards no. If you really want to buy some sort of housing (in the VERY far future) then you should stick with what you've got. Your car is sooo cute and fun anyways. And it really does SUCK to spend your life savings on gas. And I should know!
