The Notebook

Tonight I took the opportunity to watch one of my favorite shows "The Notebook." Every time I watch it I remember why I like it so much. There are so many little things about the movie that I love and notice every time. Its little dumb things such as the way someone says something or the way they look at each other or the cute things they say. I just love so much about it and analyze it every time I watch it.

Tonight I was particularly in love with the quote that Noah says when he is trying to convince Allie to stay:

"So it's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be really hard. We're gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, for ever, you and me, every day."

Now I haven't found my Noah yet, but I can only imagine the feeling that comes from knowing something is hard but also knowing that it is often times the best thing. I think this line captures how I want to look at my relationship, not that I want it to be hard, but I want it to be something that we can work on together every day.

SIDE NOTES:

The picture at the top is my favorite part of the movie. I am particularly impartial to the romance of kissing in the rain and love the build up to this moment in the movie.

Also, I know that Trent thinks I have a movie boyfriend in every show I watch, but I am adding Ryan Gosling to this list. Not only is he good looking, but I love the character he plays in "The Notebook."

Jill, I had a minute of boring time at work (pretty normal around here) and I read your thoughts on this movie. I know exactly what you mean about analyzing it and the cute looks and comments. Like when they are walking home after the movie on their first date. This movie in on my top 5 and Ryan Gossling is on my top 1. Yes, he is my favorite!! I am now going to have to go home and watch it after work. Love it!!
