I am head over heels in love with this little boy.
I am a little surprised that I am so in love that we had a boy and that I have a son -
there is something so surprising in the connection I feel of being a mom to a son.
The fascination that we have a son is not lost on Cameron either -
he is totally smitten with this guy and it melts my heart to hear him call him "buddy" most the time.
These two are at the beginning of a beautiful thing.
It took us a while to name this baby boy - we had a list of 5 boy names and Mason was actually the most recent and random addition. It got narrowed down to two and after a day Mason just started to stick. What made us love it even more is finding out it is a family name, Cameron's great-grandma's maiden name is Mason. With that information our decision was made. We love the idea of family names and so with that and Cameron's name - our little guy had his moniker.
