Monday's are the new days for updates as my Doctor appointments have seemed to move around a bit.
Today I went to the hospital and the doctor - and if I were a betting person, I would bet that this baby is a girl. This baby already has us on our toes and just likes to create drama.
First up today was the fluid check - my amniotic fluid was up to 16, 16! Now it's not very likely that my fluid went up that much - so it's more likely that it was never low to begin with - see what I mean about this baby keeping us on our toes? It can all just depend on how the baby is positioned.
Second was the non-stress test - the baby again was as happy as can be with a strong heartbeat and what do you think my blood pressure was? Completely normal at 120/75. Seriously? I don't know what my body is doing, but it sure likes to keep me guessing.
Third was the doctor's office - he was just as surprised as we were that both my fluid and my blood pressure were normal. He said that normally the blood pressure just keeps going up - so whatever I must be doing (which is nothing really) must be working.
So, with all this talk about the baby possibly coming early - I will no longer be surprised if this little love bug decides to make a fashionably late entrance and makes me go a week over.
Hopefully this is not a precursor of what is to come with this little one - if this baby can cause so much drama now, just think of what it might be capable of later.
On a side note - tomorrow is my birthday.
I love my birthday.

Thanks for the update. I hope things continue to be normal and that you and the baby relax and not stress.
So glad everything is going well!! I think you're right...plan on a late delivery.
