I bought this little beauty today (Merry Christmas to me):
I'm so excited to get all of my projects done now.
- make crib sheets
- finish baby quilt
- sew multiple sets of drapes (luckily for me the "pooling" look has been in)
- construct my car seat cover
- become pro at making cute baby things
My list is ever growing - which is good.
The other day Cameron and I were talking and I said something about someone else needing some sewing done and he said "well don't all mom's know how to sew?" We both came from mom's that do and apparently he just thinks mom's come with that talent. Luckily I took 2 years of sewing in high school - although I don't recall much of it. On the flip side, knowing how to use a machine is at least pretty straight forward and I'm hoping some of the skills I learned will come back to me.
I'm hoping posts will be forthcoming with lots and lots of things I've made with this purchase.

Tell Cameron--here's one Mom that can't sew.
He is so funny. I guess he thinks it is "programmed in" to a woman's dna. haha Good for you that you are making these fun projects and practicing your sewing skills !
