... when Saturday rolls around and it's time to make some space for Baby.
Last Saturday I told Cameron that I just wanted to do a little spring cleaning and just clean out the Baby's closet. It started there, but as most cleaning out goes - it spread. It spread to every other closet in our house and then to our dresser, and then I got burned out.
But... do you see how much we cleaned out? Ya, it's a lot (indicating we have too much stuff). I would say it was a success.
The down side - our house was a whole lot messier than when we started. I hate that. To make matters worse, we happened to watch hoarders the next day before everything was cleaned up: bad idea.
When you get done watching hoarders and it is Sunday night at 10:00 (indicating it was past my bed time) and your house is a gigantic mess it's likely that if you are pregnant you then have a minor meltdown. I did.
I spent the next 45 minutes cleaning anything and everything:
- dishes were done
- the kitchen got cleaned
- clothes were bagged up (over 4 giant garbage bags full)
- the bathroom was cleaned
- laundry was started
And things started to get a little bit better.
Now, after tomorrow when my family has had a chance to rummage through our stuff, it's off to the DI and out of my life - such a good feeling.

You're not supposed to have a melt down when your pregnant.
It looks like I wasn't the only one who got the bug to declutter recently. Feels good, doesn't it?
See you Thursday!
