Memory Lane... (kind of)

Since I have decided that blogging is no longer the most important thing in my life (gasp!) a lot happens that goes undocumented.

For Cameron's birthday (yes, back in August) we decided to skip town and head to SG for a lovely weekend - which it was.

Our time was filled with lots of eating, sleeping, eating, shopping, eating, time by the pool, eating, and more lounging - did I mention we ate a lot? It wouldn't be a SG trip if it didn't go just like this.

We did whatever struck our fancy at any given moment. Does a vacation get any better than that?

The birthday boy got his birthday meal at Texas Roadhouse (is it possible to leave that place without eating a million rolls?) and we ventured to Brick Oven the night before (which Cam even called to make sure they had mizithra cheese for me because they sometimes run out - love him).

Our weekend was so unproductive that I only took out the (actual) camera once - and instead of documenting something nice I did for Cameron for his birthday (since that is what we were in fact celebrating) I documented just how nice my husband is to paint my toe nails, just because. He's pretty great, have I mentioned that?

It was a perfect long weekend and one that tuckered me right out (all that sitting around and eating can be exhausting) - Cam loves to document my napping on drives home - it kinda happens every time.

It was as close as a vacation can get to perfection.

I think I need one of these vacations - ! And a man to paint your toenails?! Lucky girl.

That's what I thought -- he's painting her nails?!!! Seriously, nicest husband of yours. Love that you got him.

And I'd also like you to reassess your thoughts about blogging being the most important thing. It is the most important and I want more updates!

Yeah, yeah - eating. What we are all dying to know, however, is: Was there any Diet Coke?
