Summer Catch Up

Are you ready for this?

Grab a treat and a drink, get comfortable, and get ready to experience our Summer all at once.
Girl's Night
About forever and a day ago Lynlee was in town and we went to the Bountiful temple. It was one of those nice summer nights when you walk out of the temple and just have the beauty right there.

Clark Swimming Nights
There were many of these - but luckily some got documented. We had a few family reunions, a farewell party (Clark's had the sweetest Spanish exchange student this summer - it was sad to see him go), and just some casual nights. Almost all of them end with s'mores around the firepit - delish!
We also celebrated the many summer holidays with sparklers - who wouldn't like sparklers by the fire followed by s'mores.
Perfect.

Lava Hot Springs
The Clark's planned a summer family party up to Lava - it was really fun. We stayed at an interesting B&B (which had a terrific view), played games, BBQ'd, and hot tub'd in the warm hot tub.
We (by we I mean some of us) enjoyed floating the river, walking through town and enjoying ice cream, and of course the pool (to which there isn't much documentation).
To refuel we went to a little pizza parlour in town - I think we doubled the occupants. I love little quaint places like this in these small towns.
We camped the second night (our first time camping together). I'm not much of a camper and we stayed at the KOA which as toilets, showers, laundry, and wifi - that's my kind of camping. We went to the hot pools that night (not documented) which is always the highlight of trips to Lava.
 Swim Club
What is a summer without lazy Saturday's at the Evergreen Swim Club? I have spent countless hours here and I always love when the family gathers early Saturday morning and we have the pool to ourselves - this was also the first weekend Jamie was back in town - best. thing. ever.
I think this was the first time Annie ever said more than 2 words to me. She is so chatty and fun these days - Cameron and I could have played with her for hours in the pool. She loved "getting" Cameron and dunking him. Have I ever mentioned how adorable Cameron is with kids in the water? He may be the only reason we get invited to pool activities.
 Girl's Night
I hosted a dinner at my house to help celebrate and get in more sister time during our reunion with Jamie. They humored me with letting me show off grilled pizza's - which I love. We laughed as always (have I ever mentioned how much I love my mom? we're pretty close and I love it), we chatted, shopped my closet, and headed out to shop for real (we may or may not have all let out an audible scream when we pulled in to Station Park and saw that a Marshall's is coming, I love my sisters).
It was a long summer without us all being together - I don't know what I would do without these girls. They are more than just my sisters, they are my best friends. Come on - doesn't it look like fun to be a part of this group?
(I'm not going to lie, it's the greatest)

That's most of the summer's main events (or at least what was documented).

Stay tuned for:
St. George
Home projects (our wall and cabinets)
and hopefully more consistent blogging
