Yesterday was a good day. Just one of those days that it's good to be alive and enjoy the little things.
I took advantage of the beautiful weather and read a book by the water on my lunch. It was quiet and relaxing coupled with the perfect tempature with the sun on my skin and a calm gentle breeze.
While cleaning out the Jeep (which clearly doesn't happen very often) I found a wedding card with money! How lucky is that? Cam and I decided we are going to spend that money on something extra special in New York.
The evening was spent in the best way possible: with my family (the evening did have one large downside in the fact that Cam had school - I hate going to things without him).
Trent and Amy hosted an awesome Cinco de Mayo party - good food, good friends, good times.

(the second downside to the evening was a tearful good-bye with Jamie as she is leaving for the next 4 months. I know it isn't forever but I can't think of the last time I went 4 weeks without seeing my sisters - tear)
To top off my awesome day - I had a cheap fill up at the pump.
(I hope you can sense the sarcasm)
I will be grateful though that gas prices haven't gone up for the past month.
Life continues to be good and enjoying the small things is what it is all about.

The tearful goodbye was all YOUR fault. I've totally kept my act together until your sorry ball of tears showed up.
It meant a lot that you'll miss me. I'll miss you too.
Finding money anywhere is the best! Love that and I am so jealous you get to go to New York! Thanks for coming to our party. Always love seeing you!
And, of course, Team Neider will be missed!
