GC in the SG

I always love when General Conference rolls around - it is always uplifting and a perfect time to reflect on the things that are really important and what I need to work on.

Another great benefit of this weekend is the opportunity to be with family and have a fabulous destination.

We headed down to SG to take advantage of the 80 degree weather, lack of Sunday obligations, family time, and everything in between. The weather was beyond beautiful and we tried to soak up as much sun as possible. Being one of the first warm weekends down there - you could always find us in one place: the pool.

Family time down there is the best with everyone together and having this awesome activity to enjoy together. Does it get any better? No.
There is more to be done by the pool than soaking up sun: enjoying a book or magazine or catching a nap.
It's all more enjoyable by the pool, isn't it?
No need to wonder where Andrew is picking up his cue's from. I think with 900 magazines to choose from, we all looked like this for a good portion of the weekend.
The best part about these weekends is really the time we get to spend with my family. It doesn't happen much that there are a lot of us down there due to scheduling conflicts and such, but this weekend we made out pretty well with 5 out of the 7 kids (and families) showing up.

I also rather enjoy this girl's company. She has taken a liking to being Cam and I's third wheel and it has just turned into one of those relationships that we all just click. I like it.
Of course the cause for the weekend was conference.
Our Sunday was filled with time together during the morning session (in which I got to read to these three little munchkins book after book after book) and then meal time before people headed out. My mom was so nice to be the hostess and feed us all a delicious Sunday meal - don't they always seem to be the best when made by Mom?
We left just before the afternoon session started and I was already trying to figure out when we could be down there again. I don't like to go too long between trips - paradise can't be forsaken forever.

Loved this post. It was such a fun weekend. And I love your naked picture...;)

Would you mind emailing those pics on to me? I am assuming Jenny emailed them to you. I need that pic of Andrew reading the magazine.

Hey I totally have that swimsuit! But dang, girl! It looks better on you. This post-baby body still needs some work... thanks for giving me a little more motivation :)

Those are such great pictures. That seriously looks like a party in the pool. It looks like there a million people there. We were sorry to miss all the fun.
